On behalf of the entire SSVPS family, I am pleased to introduce you to SSVPS late S. D. Patil alias Baburao Dada Arts, Commerce and late M.D. Sisode Science College Shindkheda and to offer my vision for the college.

Our Philanthropies had established the college in 1970 at Shindkheda which is located in drought prone and mofussil area. It imparts the higher education to the rural students through which it fosters the need of the society.

At the beginning we offer education in Arts and Commerce stream. The science wing was commenced in 1992. It is the world that has developed wondrous technologies that link continents, but isolates human being, leaving many men and women weary and dispirited, feeling distant from moral purpose, uncertain about knowledge or the very worth of human endeavor. Our college has capability to face this new world of technology and globalization. The college is committed to disseminate the knowledge among the peoples living in rural and drought prone mofussil area. It also seeks to integrate excellence and religious commitment to both inform and form its students.

SSVPS College endeavours to educate new generation of leaders- men and women who will be capable of shaping the future with vision, justice and charity with a sense of calling, with concern for all of the human family. We pursue this challenge because it is a worthy goal for any educational institution, but particularly those situated in rural area to be a beacon of hope and light for all. I invite you to join us as a prospective students, parents or friends.
