About the Department
Department of Economics was established in June 1970 in order to impart the knowledge of Economics among the students. Economics is taught as Special subject at FY/SY/TYBA as well as Compulsory subject at FY/SY/TY BCOM. The Department has great tradition of producing quality students who excel in various fields. Students are able to use knowledge of economics in market behavior effectively which is the Programme outcome.
